Publications and notices will be published in local newspapers and
radio stations will have press releases on these topics as

EARLY VOTING
INFORMATION
Early voting will
start on March 16, 2009 and will continue until April 2, 2009.
This can be done at the Knox County Clerk's office in the Knox
County Courthouse during regular business hours and on the specified
Saturday. Please click here

POLLING PLACE
RELOCATIONS
Starting with the
Consolidated Election in 2009, some of the polling places in Knox
County will be in new locations. The polling location for
voters in Cedar 3 has moved from the Lake Bracken Fire
Station building back to the Clubhouse at the Country Club.
The 2 polling locations in the City of Knoxville have moved
from the Old County Courthouse and Knoxville High School to the Knox
County Fairgrounds Munson Building. This new polling location
will allow for less congestion during the voting day and will give
greater access to those voters with special needs who could not use
the old facilities. There will be signs posted at the
Fairgrounds to identify the polling location. Please click here
