EARLY VOTING SCHEDULE FOR FEBRUARY 5, 2008 PRIMARY ELECTION

Pursuant to Article 19A of the Illinois Election Code, Early Voting for the Consolidated Election for all precincts outside of the City of Galesburg will be conducted at the Office of the Knox County Clerk in the Knox County Courthouse at 200 South Cherry Street in Galesburg .  Early voting will begin on Monday, January 14, 2008 and will continue through Thursday, January 31, 2008 .  Voting will be conducted during regular Courthouse business days and hours which are Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM .  The office will also be open on Saturday, January 26, 2008 from the hours of 9:00 AM till 12:00 Noon .  Any voter validly registered in Knox County (outside of the City of Galesburg ) may vote during the early voting period after showing proper identification.  Voters are to be advised that any vote cast is final and may not be revoked, and the voter is not eligible to cast a ballot in their precinct on Election Day.
